Gratitude Journaling is For Everyone

Updated: Sep 25, 2018

It doesn't matter who you are ... Gratitude Journaling Works.

Gratitude and especially Gratitude Journaling is for everyone.  All ages, all genders, all vocations, happy or sad, healthy or unwell, everyone can benefit from the tremendous results available by doing this simple practice of focusing on the good things that happen in our lives. (rather than the crap)

And writing them down ... preferably daily .... 3 to 5 times weekly will suffice.  You will see changes immediately!  Evenings will almost guarantee a better night's sleep and mornings will start your day off with a boost of joy and happiness.

Here are a few things we all would like to improve in our lives that this practice will do for you:

- fostering good will and better relationships

- less stress which in turn helps fight inflammation in the body

- increases resiliency

- diminishes depression

There are many more things to list here and will be addressed in another blog that will be very research and scientific based coming soon.

Oprah Winfrey ( oprah.com)

on Super Soul Sunday said Gratitude Journaling is one of the most important things she has ever done.

"If you concentrate on what you have, you will always end up having more."

You have to write them down, physically write them down, there is power in the words.  When you allow yourself to feel gratitude in the present moment, in the now, the spiritual dimension of your life begins to change, it opens up, it expands and you just grow with it.  If you want to change your state of being, start to be grateful."

Now it is our turn to start by changing our own state of being with an Attitude of Gratitude and spread it outward to others, helping those around us and changing the world one gratitude at a time.
